Membership is free for your entire training
Fellows and residents receive complimentary TSGE membership for the duration of their residency or fellowship. To be eligible you need:
Graduation from a recognized medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy
Texas Medical License
Enrolled in an approved training program directly related to gastroenterology

Clinical Case Conference Series
A cost-free opportunity for fellows across Texas to present cases and receive feedback from other fellows and renowned faculty.
• Held over Zoom, register to attend
• Two pre-selected fellows each present a 20-minute case covering interventions performed, outcomes, and a short literature overview September 10–12, 2027 · Dallas
52nd Annual Texas Meeting
The Annual Texas Meeting has a great deal built specifically for trainees, including the Fellows Symposium and GI Jeopardy, the Hands-On Workshop, and a housing stipend for fellows who attend.

Social Media Ambassador
Help TSGE grow its visibility across Texas and add a society role to your CV. A straightforward way to get involved early, without a heavy time commitment.
Research Funding
TSGE Research Grant
A $10,000 grant for junior gastroenterology and hepatology faculty in Texas — worth knowing about now, since past recipients have carried funded projects through to peer-reviewed publication.
